Medical College No. 3 is a public educational institution. History of the institution

By decision of the Executive Committee of the Moscow City Council of Workers' Deputies No. 62/31 dated September 24, 1953, to open a medical assistant school at the city hospital No. 12, currently City Clinical Hospital No. 60, the purpose of which was to provide medical institutions in the Perovsky district with experienced paramedics, to build and put into operation st. Freedom, now st. Novogireevskaya, school of nurses and rename the paramedical school at the city hospital No. 12 to Medical School № 12.

A great merit in the organization of the school belongs to the first director Karamova Pavel Aleksandrovna. Karamova P.A. having graduated from the 1st Pavlov Leningrad Medical Institute and the Naval medical academy, worked in the surgical clinic of the academy as an intern, and then was sent to the Pacific Fleet and worked in the naval hospital as an intern in the surgical department. In 1947, with the rank of captain of the medical service, she was transferred to the reserve. In December 1952, she was appointed director of the United City Hospital No. 12 of the Ministry of Health.

Many talented specialists came out of the walls of the Medical School No. 12:

A.V. Babkin - chief physician GP No. 130 UZ of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, graduated from a medical school in 1977, then graduated from the 1st Sechenov Medical Institute, worked as an emergency doctor, went from a doctor on duty to the head of an ambulance, awarded the order Hippocrates.

A.I. Veshkina - doctor of endoscopic examinations of the City Clinical Hospital No. 70 of the Higher Administrative District of Moscow, graduated in 1978. After graduating from the Moscow Dental Institute, she worked as a researcher, later became a candidate medical sciences, was a professor.
