Whom to go to study for an ignorant person. Who to go to study or how to make the right choice. Future plans

Some people know from childhood that they want to become a doctor or a miner. Others have no idea who to work with at all. For some, finances and school results allow them to enter any faculty, while others choose from what is available. What if you still do not know which university is better to enter? Depends on what's stopping you from making a choice.

You do not know which university is better

A good university is a vague concept. To understand which university will make a cool specialist out of a student, you need to dig through a bunch of data.

Please note that university rankings vary. Simple lists like "The 100 Best Universities in the World" are not suitable: what they evaluate is not always necessary for future profession. Look for ratings that reflect the employment of graduates: how many specialists found a job after graduation, how quickly they got settled, and whether they work in their specialty at all.

Information for thought:

  1. Ratings of the Expert RA agency: starting from the abstract “best university” and ending with the list of the most demanded by employers.
  2. Monitoring of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on the employment of graduates.
  3. Quality Rating educational activities(also according to the Ministry of Education).
  4. An example of the salary rating of the SuperJob portal. Look for similar selections for other professions.

If you are going to enter, and your educational institution does not appear on any list, ask the representatives of the university if graduates find work easily. Perhaps the university does not track the fate of all graduates, but at least cooperates with employers and helps in finding employment. Ask about such programs: whether they operate and under what conditions.

Connect with alumni

  1. How do employers react to a university degree?
  2. Did the knowledge from lectures and seminars come in handy in your work?
  3. How do colleagues rate the university?
  4. Are graduates satisfied with the level of salary? How fast do they move up the career ladder?

Go to all open days

Universities hold meetings with applicants to praise themselves. Walk, listen. Ask how to find a job after graduation, whether it is possible to transfer to another faculty and how to do it.

Find out more about study opportunities, trips abroad. Ask questions about the equipment in the labs and even the quality of the food in the cafeteria.

You don't know who you want to be

Don't worry if you don't have what you want to do yet. You have time to choose the business of your dreams. But if you want to act now (not to waste time or for other reasons), try to find a suitable option.

Look for jobs you don't know about

Open the directory of professions (the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation has such and such) and see who you can work with. Just read the job descriptions in order. If you like something, go to any job search portal and view the vacancies. Analyze what requirements apply to applicants and what you will need to be able to do.

Sometimes such a free search gives more than all career guidance tests.

Choose a university with a large number of directions

If in a year or two you realize that you want to do something completely different, you can find a suitable specialty within your university. Then it will be easier to transfer to another faculty and take additional subjects.

Stop at the hardest

If you have no idea who you want to be, but you still need to study (your parents put pressure on you or you are more afraid of the army than sessions), then choose a difficult specialty.

First, there is less competition in difficult areas. Secondly, if you decide to change faculty or specialty, after a difficult study, everything else will seem like paradise. Thirdly, the skills of self-discipline and overcoming difficulties are the best that a modern university can give.

Choose a practical specialty

So that you can start right after your studies or even during it. Otherwise, after university, you may find yourself with a diploma that neither you nor the employer needs.

It is better to make money in an unloved position and save money for a new business than to spend several years on crusts that are not useful at all.

You don't have money

Training is expensive. Or not?

Don't get hung up on the big name

Roughly speaking, if you want to become a mathematician, you have to become a mathematician, not a student of the Best Mathematical University. Therefore, look for the desired specialty in other universities and in other cities. Maybe you will find an option for many thousands of kilometers, but with a scholarship.

Don't stop at Moscow and St. Petersburg: good universities is not only in them. The HSE study on education accessibility in 2016 will help to take a fresh look at the geography of education.

Go to college

Colleges are cheaper. They run the program faster. And in a few years, you will have a ready-made specialty, work and the opportunity to study part-time or evening department without thinking about how parents will pay for their studies.

Choose a university that pays good scholarships

In many universities, active and talented students are encouraged by paying them additional scholarships. The region can also help with money.

Find out if the university you are going to has such scholarship holders. Ask how they got it. There will be a trifle - to become one of the best students of the university.

Try target set

The target set is when an enterprise pays for your training, and after graduation you must work at this very enterprise. Sometimes the contract is concluded not with the enterprise, but with municipal authorities. In fact, this is a kind of educational loan, only you have to repay the debt not with money, but with work.

Find out if the university you are interested in has a target set, ask what enterprises they work with. Take the contacts of the departments that conclude contracts - and go ahead, study the conditions and features of training.

Please note that orders for the enrollment of target recipients are signed earlier, and applications must be submitted in the spring. The best time to do it all is during spring break.

School graduate checklist

If you are confused about what to do right now, check yourself with a short instruction:

  1. Decide who you want to be.
  2. Make a list of universities that have the desired specialty.
  3. Cross out schools that you can't afford.
  4. In different ratings, check the position of the remaining ones.
  5. Choose several universities for which it is worth trying and passing exams.

How to help a graduate find himself?

There are times when I don't like my job. It is one thing to advise applicants when they clearly know what they want. And this is a pleasure: it is interesting to find a non-standard program; getting through to recruitment at a conservative university where mail is not checked every week; knock out the necessary papers from a creative university (“Oh! Forgotten again, sorry…”). Compare here and there, understand what lies behind the same names of specialties. In general, my work is very exciting. With one exception.

When they come to me with a 17-year-old man, they seat him between his parents and talk about him in the third person. He (she), imagine, has no idea where to go. What are you interested in? Nothing. What does he like to do? Unclear. In what area would you like to try yourself? Does not know.

Usually, a future applicant calmly reacts to the fact that they are discussing him, as if he is thousands of kilometers away, and not sitting here with us. My attempts to address him cause surprise in my parents and in him, sometimes panic and even hysteria. Here at least cry, at least laugh.

Parents are usually not stupid and come in from the other side: what specialties are popular? What universities are chosen in general? They are dissatisfied when they hear about the conservatory, gastronomy, the cosmetology university, the university of ecology. If only there was some kind of magical university, prestigious and suitable for anyone. For any type of hair, as they say on some shampoos.

I always get lost. I am terribly interested in what a person has in mind, what thoughts are behind a light bang or bright highlighting. What does he dream about before going to bed. Who did you want to be when you were young? What did you love to do at the age of 5? And I understand that in this situation, these questions are more than irrelevant. There are heavy pauses.

"He doesn't want to do anything special." "She doesn't know what subjects she likes better." “They are so ... lack of initiative, don’t stump - they won’t budge.” And in the midst of all this, the cry of the girl’s soul: “How can you even like to study ???”

The Russian intelligentsia traditionally likes to ask the questions “Who is to blame?” and "What to do?". The first question is more or less clear. There is not a single healthy little person who would not be interested in anything at the age of 2-3-4. Who would passively spend time looking at the phone. I would not have asked a thousand questions a day at the age of 5-6. Interaction with the outside world makes him a person without special abilities and interests by the age of 17. Our favorite school and… family. We ourselves kill something in our child every day.

The question "What to do?" much more relevant for those who are not yet planning to try their hand at the next experimental pupils. But something needs to be done, because we are catastrophically losing the percentage of initiative, active, inquisitive young people. And if we cannot most often do anything with the school, then in our own family it is quite within our power to put interest in each other at the forefront. Not to a child, often the only one, but to each other. Ask yourself and your loved one: “What would you like? What do you like, what are you interested in? Sincerely cultivate an interest in the world and the people in it. How can a child not like something? Maybe he watches cooking shows and dreams of Jamie Oliver fame. Is there a conflict between the parents' expectations, their own ambitions, and the child's timid attempts to turn their attention to completely different areas? They ridiculed, told friends as a joke. They waved it off. Vet? Yeah, well, funny. Cosmetology? Pimples to press? What forestry, we think about accounting and auditing, from Monday math tutor. Maybe there are hard cases, but I stubbornly continue not to believe in them. There is always something: let it not be on the surface, let it be hidden as deep as the atmosphere in the child's social environment facilitates.

Not too long ago I read an article about how the most important thing we can do for our children is to help them find themselves. Understand their strengths and weaknesses, tendencies and abilities (not the same thing!). No coach, no career counselor knows these people better than their parents. No one will advise more correctly, based on the interests and characteristics of the child. That's just how to move the point of view to the center of these very interests and features ...

And then different options are possible. The generally accepted ideas about the "right fate" and the "right path" may remain somewhere on the sidelines of the chosen direction. And parents are waiting for breaking. How prepared are we to accept this turn of events? An uncomfortable question that takes parents out of their comfort zone, but in it I see some kind of perspective, the possibility of breaking out of the vicious circle called "They are not interested in anything."

A will is a will in the event of death. The heir becomes the owner of the property bequeathed to him only after the death of the testator.

Gifting is one of the most popular ways to transfer property. Most often, citizens enter into a donation agreement when they want to donate real estate - a house or apartment, but for some reason do not want to make a will. For example, in cases where the owner has relatives who are entitled to a mandatory share in the inheritance, to whom they do not want to transfer this very share.

Under a donation contract, the donor (the one who gives) transfers or undertakes to transfer to the donee (the one who receives the gift) a thing free of charge. That is, the contract states that you give your apartment to your beloved niece. And as soon as you put your signature under the contract, you should know that the apartment is no longer yours.
Quite often, there are reports in the media that another person appeared on the street, who lost the right to live in his apartment due to the fact that it was donated to him, and the new owner evicted him, although the victim was sure that he had the right to live in the apartment remained. The main reason for this is the lack of awareness of the consequences of concluding a gift agreement.
You need to understand that donation means the transfer of ownership to the donee (the one to whom you give). That is, he can dispose of the donated property at his discretion. In the case when the donor decides to transfer, for example, to a relative the apartment he owns in which he lives, it is worth remembering that, along with the right of ownership, he loses the right to live in the apartment. That is, if you gave a relative an apartment, and he evicts you, according to the law, he has every right to do so.
Of course, many of those who give their only apartment to relatives are confident in their decency. But a huge number of tragic stories about old people who found themselves on the street proves that trust is often in vain. Often, cloudless relations between relatives deteriorate sharply after the signing of a donation agreement. Especially often, such stories occur when a donation transaction is concluded in a simple written form, as a rule, old people deceived in this way do not understand the essence of the contract at all, do not know about the consequences and do not even realize that they will no longer be able to live in their apartments.
If you are going to conclude a donation agreement, it is better to think several times. Also, seek advice from a notary public. The notary will definitely explain all the details of the transaction, talk about what consequences may occur after its conclusion. If after that the confidence in the need to conclude a donation agreement disappears, the notary will help you choose other options for transferring real estate. They can be a will, a sale and purchase transaction, etc. The main thing is not to neglect the opportunity to get professional advice. After all, a notary is, first of all, a highly qualified lawyer of a wide profile who works in the interests of citizens.

The closer the GIA (OGE), the more parents and students are puzzled by the question - to leave after grade 9 or after 11. If you are inclined to leave after passing the GIA (OGE), then the question arises - where to go to study after grade 9. The natural choice is to go to college or technical school, but many people confuse these concepts and do not know where to apply.

Model provision, which concerns secondary special educational institutions, specifies these concepts:

  • the college has the right to provide basic and advanced training;
  • The technical school offers basic training to applicants after the 9th grade.

Thus, in college, the educational program for a graduate of the 9th grade will be deeper, and the training will last a year longer, depending on the direction of study that you choose.

College

The college offers basic and elevated levels. While the duration of the basic level is two to three years, the training at the advanced (advanced) level will last 10 months longer. The qualifications of the graduate of both levels also differ. If you chose a basic level of in a technical specialty, you will receive the qualification of a technician, and advanced - a senior technician. There are times when educational programs two levels are combined and at the end of the graduates are counted both. You can go to college after the 9th grade, both in absentia and in person.

The duration of training is also determined by the profile of the specialty. Humanitarians will have to study for up to five years, and those who have chosen a technical direction - 3-4 years. So it’s worth choosing where it’s better to do after grade 9.

Deciding on a future profession

Who can apply after 9th grade to college? The list of professions can take two sheets, but there are the most popular and highly paid among them:

  • accountant,
  • lawyer,
  • realtor,
  • manager,
  • cook,
  • hairdresser.

Let's consider some of them.

Accountant

Is it possible to act after the 9th grade as an accountant? Yes, you need to apply for college of Economics where the training will last for two years and 10 months. In order to get the "crust" of an accountant, you need to enroll in the specialty "Economics and Accounting" and master the theoretical material on accounting, tax accounting, financial analysis, the basics of auditing, accounting legislation, the securities market, taxes and taxation. Depending on your mobility, you can choose a college in another city where you can enroll by correspondence and study at home or enroll in full-time department and start an independent life.

A college graduate with an accounting degree will have to analyze and control the finances of an enterprise, whether it be state or municipal governments, a bank, an exchange, a financial or insurance company, a credit institution, etc. Specialists in the field of economics and accounting will have to work at the cash desk, carry out foreign exchange transactions , calculate salaries, be responsible for the warehouse.

Admission after grade 9 to an accountant is suitable for those who are not afraid of frequent changes in legislation, discrepancies in tax and accounting laws, who are very accurate, responsible and organized, attentive and diligent.

Lawyer

To start successful career a lawyer, graduates of the 9th grade should carefully choose a college for further education. The management of employers will first look at the prestige of the college, as well as the university, and only later, having earned the authority of a professional in their field, it will be possible not to look back at the diploma. Lawyers will be received with open arms in the bank, government agencies, other organizations and enterprises.

Language skills are important for lawyers. Chief among them will be Latin, because most of the terminology is rooted in Ancient Rome. Applicants to law school need to know history well, because in college they will have to study:

  • history of state and law,
  • history and law of other countries,
  • history of criminal and civil law.

In colleges where you can study to become a lawyer after entering the 9th grade, there are several legal specializations. The future lawyer should decide what is closer to him (her) and choose the appropriate college. Specialization can be:

  • criminal law,
  • civil,
  • administrative.

There are 18 colleges in Moscow, where you can enter after the 9th grade as a lawyer. This list can be found at federal portal Russian education or at your city's education department. Among the metropolitan colleges can be noted:

  • Economic Business College;
  • College at MGEI;
  • Police College;
  • College of Law (MIIT);
  • College of Moscow University. S.Yu. Witte;
  • Law College at MNUI.

Realtor

The profession of a realtor appeared relatively recently. Being a realtor means being an intermediary between sellers and buyers of real estate as an individual or representative of an agency. Having enrolled on the basis of 9 classes in college as a realtor, you will have to be directly involved in transactions - from start to completion, and the salary will depend on the success of the transaction.

The profession is important because many people deal with real estate transactions and do not want or have no time to understand the legal procedures associated with buying and selling. You will have to earn the trust of the people who contact you, understand the real estate market, the legal aspects of the transaction, and be able to negotiate with people. There is an opinion that you don’t need to study to be a realtor, but with this approach, you won’t wait for rewards. If you want to become a professional realtor, then to figure out where you can enter this profession, the list of specialties of the college, which trains specialists in the field of real estate and management, will help you. Among them is the specialty "commerce", which trains sales managers. Such a college, for example, the Ural College of Real Estate and Management, trains not only for a manager, but also for other professions related to real estate - a logistician, specialist, accountant, etc.

College or college, that is the question

In the technical school you can study humanitarian, medical, economic specialties and get a job. Education in a technical school will depend on the technical profile of the profession.

Cook

The catering service sector is expanding today, and the demand for specialists in this field is growing. One of the most popular professions in this area is the profession of a cook. The profession of a cook can be obtained both in college and in a technical school. Of course, it is up to you to choose where to enter after the 9th grade, but it is only worth noting that the technical school makes it possible to start working after two and a half years of study.

By becoming a chef, you will master the process of receiving raw materials, their processing, the features of storing products, you will be able to professionally prepare cold appetizers and hot dishes, bake, decorate dishes. If you want to find yourself in the profession of a cook, you must develop a figurative memory, have an aesthetic taste, a developed sense of smell, accuracy, physical endurance and hand mobility.

Programmer

Programmers are in high demand today. Since the IT industry is developing rapidly, many specialists in this field sometimes work without special education, however, at the same time, one must constantly learn - to study new programming languages, modern approaches to system administration, to improve their skills.

If you have already decided where to go after the 9th grade and have chosen the profession of a programmer for yourself, then you can also learn the basics of future work in a technological college. To succeed as a programmer, you must be self-taught, proficient English language to translate technical documentation, to be able to work both in a team and individually, to be very scrupulous, proactive and responsible.

As you can see, the professions we have paid attention to are very important in modern world, and many educational institutions train specialists in these areas.

If choosing where to go to study after the 9th grade, you start from how soon you can start working, then you should go to a technical school. If you want to get in-depth training so that after graduating from your specialty after grade 9 you can go to college, then you should consider the educational programs offered by the college. In any case, whether you become a professional in your field or not depends only on you, therefore, good luck!

Graduates high school a very worrying time. To make a life with whom? Whom to go to study? Where to go? Who to be? How to choose? There are a lot of guys who just don't know what they want. Parents know ... They often explain: "you will go to study where you can." Or: “You will study where our money is enough.” Most educational institutions in the graduating classes there is a serious event Invite university professors and graduates, issue "newsletters", conduct interesting specialized cool watch, conversations ... And in the souls of the guys an anxious, aching feeling: how not to make a mistake. The difficult thing is the choice. If nothing is interesting, then everything is simple - it doesn’t matter where you serve 5 years, then life will show that you don’t have to work in your specialty. And 5 years as if it had not happened. And if it is interesting, but not prestigious, or not monetary?

So who should you study? Maybe try to look at yourself first.

Parties? Can I communicate with peers, but with older comrades? Is it sociable or is it more interesting to think in silence alone about the high? Is my mind rational or do I live primarily with emotions and feelings? And then the first choice for yourself - a lyricist or a physicist? Then the second step: where can I acquire knowledge - in my city, in a neighboring city, in the capital? The third step: read in the press - and what are the

After all, the future well-being of him and his loved ones depends on the degree to which a specialist is in demand, the possibility of further career development and much more. Unfortunately, practical considerations, or fashion, or romantic notions are often decisive. In the 60s of the twentieth century, they dreamed of conquering space, in the 90s - of the profession of a lawyer and an accountant. It was believed that they are "the most bread." But now there are too many of them. In front of the eyes of current graduates, technologies and the level of production are changing.

So who to go to study after 11th grade? Obviously, preference will be given to professionals in the field of information and nanotechnologies, heads of innovative enterprises and the business sector. Not everyone is capable of becoming an engineer. But everyone intuitively understands that without basic knowledge in the field of jurisprudence and economics, it is quite difficult to become a sought-after specialist of any profile. Therefore, when deciding for themselves the question “who is better to go to study”, the future applicant must understand that budget places for these specialties are very limited, which means a high competition, and commercial places are waiting for them only if the family is ready to take on financial obligations for education.

According to forecasts, engineering specialties will break into the lead in the next decade. The real sector of the economy requires technologists, operators and marketers. This is all the more relevant, because highly qualified personnel Soviet period or retired, or left the profession, the engineering and technical youth of the 90s and zero years sought to leave their homeland or retrained, as they say, "in the house manager."

But there are even more acute needs for highly qualified personnel in the field of education and healthcare: prestigious, interesting, fashionable, but ... penniless. Here is the dilemma!

Finally, it is not at all important to have prestigious "crusts" for self-respecting graduates, if they know that they have a head on their shoulders and hands, as they say, "golden".

For a long time in Russia there was no such acute demand for skilled workers. Turners, millers, equipment adjusters, system administrators, logisticians… Young people capable of servicing “complex” equipment are in such demand that companies are ready to train and pay higher salaries at their own expense. Of particular interest to employers is software, web designers and IT security professionals.

The specializations "Nanomaterials" and "Nanotechnologies in electronics" are also very attractive in Russia. In the future, the range of specializations in this area will probably be wider.

However, how to promote products on the market, how to increase sales, how to take a place under the sun of your company in the face of fierce competition - this is where serious psychologists and other specialists are needed to optimize the management of material and information flows.

Whom to go to study? Listen to yourself, take a closer look at the world around you, do not be led by the momentary mood, do not reject any advice, but decide everything yourself.
