VI ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC ECOLOGICAL SCHOOL

On November 26-29, 2007, the 6th All-Russian scientific school, a program that included:

5th All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Problems of regional ecology in the context of sustainable development";

Scientific and methodological seminar "Improving the environmental competence of teachers of the natural science cycle of basic educational institutions on ecology” with the participation of ecology teachers from schools in the Kirov region;

Scientific and methodological seminar "Physical and moral health as a basis personal development child” with the participation of environmental teachers from the cities of Kirov and Kirovo-Chepetsk;

Scientific and methodological seminar " Modern technologies environmental monitoring in the CWDF area" with the participation of specialists from regional centers of state environmental control and monitoring from the city of Izhevsk (Udmurtia), Kursk, Penza, Bryansk, Saratov, Kirov regions;

Seminar "Problems of storage and destruction of chemical weapons: state and monitoring", which was attended by teachers of ecology of the Orichevsky and Kotelnichsky districts;

Round table " Ecological problems region: state, ways of development”.

The conference was attended by 315 people from 32 regions of Russia, including the republics of Mordovia, Mari El, Komi, Bashkortostan, Bulgaria, representatives of state, scientific and public organizations, environmental services, the media, specialists in the field of environmental education, education and enlightenment, university professors, methodologists, teachers, graduate students and students.

The conference was held in the classrooms of the Vyatka State University for the Humanities.

The plenary session was opened by T. Ya. The rector of the VyatGGU V.S. head of the Department for technological and environmental supervision in the Kirov region Yu. A. Semeno-

vyh, Head of the Department of Conventional Problems of the Administration of the Government of the Kirov Region M. G. Manin, Deputy. Head of the Office of Rosprirodnadzor V. L. Izmestiev.

Presentations at the plenary session were made by Dr. b. n. A. I. Vidyakin (Institute of Biology, Komi Scientific Center, Ural Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences), Ph.D. n. A. A. Shirokikh (NIISH of the North-East), Ph.D. n. M. M. Dolgin (Institute of Biology, Komi Scientific Center, Ural Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences), Doctor of Technical Sciences T. Ya. Ashikhmina (Vyatka State University).

The conference received 293 reports, in accordance with this, the materials were formed in nine areas and sections:

Section 1. Environmental monitoring natural environments and objects.

Section 2. Assessment and forecast anthropogenic impact on the components of the natural environment.

Section 3. Ecological safety of the region.

Section 4. Industrial ecology.

Section 5. Flora and mechanisms of its adaptation to habitats.

Section 6. Ecology of microorganisms and their adaptation to habitats.

Section 7 Animal world and mechanisms of its adaptation to habitats.

Section 8. Health and environment.

Section 9 environmental education.

At the last two sections, the issues of environmental education were given Special attention. The participants of the conference noted that environmental education, while remaining in demand, provides not only a natural science foundation for understanding environmental problems and key ideas of sustainable development, but also maintains a priority in the development of environmental culture in society.

The key issues at the conference were:

New technologies in the organization of state environmental control and monitoring;

Performance indicators of environmental safety systems;

Solving environmental problems at the regional and local levels;

Assessment and forecast of anthropogenic impact on the components of the natural environment;

Conservation of biodiversity;

Mechanisms of adaptation of flora and fauna to habitats;

Ecology of microorganisms and their adaptation to habitats;

New quality of education in the context of modernization educational system in Russia;

Effective Methods education of ecological culture, features of the organization of school environmental monitoring, expeditionary and environmental local history work;

Physical and moral health as the basis of a child's personal development.

There was an active discussion at the round table on the topic “Environmental problems of the region: state, development paths”. Issues related to the storage and disposal of industrial waste, including radioactive waste stored on the territory of the Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Combine, were brought up for discussion. A big discussion at the round table was caused by such issues as the health of children and adults, the quality of drinking water of the Kirov residents, the problems of reforestation and forest conservation, the safe destruction of chemical weapons at the Mara-dykovsky facility, which has been operating for more than a year in the Orichevsky district of the Kirov region. In work round table journalists from Kirov newspapers, television and radio took part.

Based on the materials of the work of the All-Russian Scientific School, the 6th edition of the collection "Problems of Regional Ecology in the Conditions of Sustainable Development" was published.

The co-founders of the conference were the Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management of the Kirov Region, the Institute of Biology of the Komi Scientific Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Vyatka State Humanities University, International and Russian Green Cross.

Such conferences are a unique opportunity to gather and unite specialists, scientists Russian universities, Research Institute for constructive scientific dialogue, establishment of scientific contacts, partnerships, organization of joint scientific research and ecological expeditions.

The relevance and relevance of the topic of this conference are due to the needs of society to maintain the course adopted by the pedagogical community for the creation of an education system in the country for sustainable development (in accordance with the Environmental Doctrine of the Russian Federation, 2002), using the best practice of environmental education. The participants noted the need to develop new scientific technologies to create systems for ensuring environmental safety, to introduce modern express methods of environmental monitoring, to conduct comprehensive studies to study the ecological state of their area - the House in which we live.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE AT THE FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY

On November 1-2, the University hosted the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Psychology of Empathy: modern approaches to the problem and development prospects”. The conference was organized by the Department of Psychology (Head of Department V.P. Kuzmina) with the financial support of the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation (RHF). This support seems to be quite legitimate. Modern society, set within the framework of pragmatism, needs to solve the actual problem of truly human relations, which are impossible without mutual understanding and mutual respect, deep empathy and sympathy for the Other, careful entry into its inner world and accepting it without judgment or evaluation.

The wide possibilities opened up by research on empathy also create difficulties in working on a problem. The concept of empathy has numerous definitions that are often incompatible. Being one of the integral concepts of psychology, it is considered both in philosophy and pedagogy. Hence, there are considerable difficulties in understanding this phenomenon, discrepancies in theoretical approaches to the problem and in determining its prospects.

All the more timely is the conference, which brought together scientists and practitioners who are ready to discuss such a complex phenomenon. Among the conference participants are philosophers, psychologists and teachers: doctors and candidates of sciences, professors and associate professors, senior researchers and graduate students, teachers and practical psychologists, kindergarten teachers and speech pathologists. Materials for publication, in addition to the people of Kirov, were provided by scientists from St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Syktyvkar, Ufa, Yaroslavl, practitioners from the Kirov region - Svechi, Yury.

The plenary session, which gathered a full audience, was devoted to the consideration of general issues in the problem under discussion: empathy as cognition of the Other (Doctor of Philosophy, Professor V.F. Yulov), theoretical and methodological aspects of the study of empathy (Ph.D. V. P. Kuzmin); the psychological content of pedagogical tolerance (D.Psych., Professor Yu.P. Povarenkov), the influence of art on the development of empathy (D.Psych. N.L.A. N. L. I. Belozerova), defense mechanisms as processes of empathy (Psych. N. E. V. Saraeva). In addition, the fundamental foundations of the analyzed problem are
